c. How do the images work together to tell a story?
The image tells story through it's set up of chronological sequence, the changing emotions, and through caption.

Captions

Under the "Chapter 3: Basic Training" group of photos, look at the last photo where Ian is in Airport and making a face after a flight. Ian looks sick after buying ticket for a flight home after the basic training. The basic training was enough to make him feel funny and now he has to ride an airplane.

Under the "Chapter 1: Singing Up", look at the third row and third column picture in which Ian have a taste of his going away cake. Ian licks his finger, tasting the frosting, unable to wait to cut his cake. He didn't want the others to eat his cake before he does.

In "Chapter 4: First Assignment" group of photos, look at the seventh picture to the last where Ian patrols with his gun and falls asleep during his assignment. Ian takes watch position, protecting his base, and falls asleep because his lack of sleep in his job. He has stayed up late the previous night for another watch.

Video
A. How do these other features enhance the photographs?
It has the voice of the people themselves instead of text, the tone of the voice.

B. In what ways are videos better than photographs? Provide an example from the Denver Post Web site.
Videos gives better reaction to a question than the word themselves. The people body languages shown in videos are clearer than those in photos. Whenever you see Ian in video he looks scared but if you look at the photos he has less fear and more happiness.

C. In what ways are photos better than videos? Provide an example from the Denver Post Web site.
Photos lets you see an event with better angle and more meaning shaped by the photographer themselves, it gets better visualization. Whenever you see someone talks and picture, you can visualize the picture better, because you see what was happening. The picture lets your brain summarize an event in faster pace than words themselves; you can see 50+ pictures and summarize whats happening than reading a book. Its similar to reading a manga and reading a book. In this website, whenever I browse through a series of picture and long 7 minutes videos, it was faster for me to get know whats going on in pictures than videos, but the videos give unlimited access to the detail of an event.
